With the passage of time, man
became less
of a wild animal and more of a civilized being, one
capable of showing both trust
and compassion not only to his own kind, but also to
other creatures.
Only then did the cat feel secure enough to visit man's
campfire and to purr under his caress... And so began
an association that is unique
among the creatures of this planet ...

The
aim of the Maidstone and Medway Cat club is to promote interest in cats,
both pedigree and non-pedigree and to assist and give advice to cat owners
or prospective cat owners.
There is an active Feline Welfare Section to help cats who are in need
and in distress.
You are invited to become a member of this friendly Club and compete for
the Rosettes and Trophies that are being offered to Members at the Show.
Members are also entitled to the reduced rate of Show Entry Fees at the
Annual Christmas Championship Show held on the third Saturday in December
at the Black Lion Leisure, Mill Road, Gillingham, Kent.

Completed forms accompanied by a cheque made out to the Maidstone &
